Travel Destinations

I traveled to 16 countries within 17 months and spent the most time in Taiwan and New Zealand.  Below is a map of my solo adventure:

After coming back home, people often ask me which is my favorite country.  This is a hard question to answer because I liked every country I visited for the different experiences, people, and natural beauty.  The only country I disliked was Cambodia but even then the island of Koh Rong was paradise and what you expect Thai islands to be like…relaxed, quaint, friendly, and gorgeous.

Top 5 Countries Visited:

  1. New Zealand
  2. Taiwan
  3. Malaysia
  4. South Korea
  5. Mongolia

If I could go back to explore a place, I would revisit Indonesia as I only had two short weeks and visited only four islands out of over a thousand. Vietnam also makes it on the list mainly because I skipped the northern part, which according to fellow travelers is the most beautiful.  I’d gladly go back to Europe to explore as well, but at this point in my life, the developing countries seem to beckon me with their calls of street food, night markets, and unreliable transportation.  This only means there are many more adventures to come!
